Why create this blog?

In a world of so much written word to sift through, why would one feel compelled to start yet another blog? It is simple really, I have always been drawn to books. The process is a dance that I cannot exactly describe except to say that I am pulled towards certain books. At different times in my life I have owned a bookstore, worked at a bookstore, written copy for the backs of academic texts, sold books online, pointed many people toward books that have amused, angered or inspired them. I realized that I have a real gift for pointing people toward the exact book that they will enjoy. Some people are amazing painters or writers or carpenters..I am a book magnet. People always ask me, "What are you reading right now?" This blog is my answer. I hope you enjoy.
